The exhibition Dean Tavoularis (Hollywood’s wizard) presented both cinema and painting as an entire interlinked body of work, in a sequence that attempts to tell a story. A sequence which describes through sketches, drawings, projections and paintings the various facets of Dean Tavoularis’ career, and the man as artist. The exhibition included several sketches and drawings from films such as: The Apocalypse, Godfather etc, Various cuts as projections from the films he art directed.
Objects and photos, where exhibited inside long show case tables especially designed for the exhibition, and light boxes which where a sequence of his sketch and drawing works on the walls of the museum. The circular room of the museum was painted red to provide the heart of his present and future work his paintings.
